How to Order a Replacement Debit Card

Whether your debit card is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can easily order a replacement debit card online, via our Mobile Banking app, in-person, or over the phone.

How to order a replacement debit card online:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Choose “ATM and Debit Card Services” to request a new or replacement debit card.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select the appropriate card and click “Continue.”
  4. Verify your personal information and click “Confirm.”

How to order a replacement debit card using our Mobile Banking app

  1. Log in to Santander Mobile Banking app.
  2. Click on “Manage Cards” from the menu.
  3. Order replacement card.

Visit a local branch and speak to a representative to order a new debit card in person.

How to Activate Your New Debit Card

Your new debit card and Personal Identification Number will arrive in the mail within 5–7 business days in unmarked envelopes. For additional security, your card and PIN will be mailed separately.

What to Do if You Lose/Damage Your Debit Card

Not sure where your debit card is? First and foremost, take advantage of our security feature, Santander® Instant Card Hold. Log in to Online Banking or your Mobile Banking App, click on the “ATM & Debit Card Services” tab in Online Banking or “Manage Cards” in Mobile Banking App, and select “Instant Card Hold” to immediately put your card on hold. If you find your debit card, go online to turn it back on. ◊
